• What was your biggest fear before hiring me? Did it come true, and if not, what happened instead?

  I didn't really have any big fears. I just hoped to be happy with whatever the outcome would be & leave feeling sexier than ever.

• My comfort level with Amy ( please describe it a little!)

  From the moment I stepped through the door I felt nothing but comfort. The amount of confidence and comfort I felt the entire session was more than I could have imagined. As odd as it may sound, I'd never imagined I would be that comfortable being almost naked & bent over in front of another person. I've been with my fiancé for 9 years and I was more comfortable with Amy in 10 minutes! Haha

• My hair and makeup experience with Christian:

  Christian is amazing! She's got this thing about her where you feel like you can literally open up and tell her anything.

• How I felt when I saw my images:

  I've only seen my coupon image so far, but seeing that little glimpse makes me extremely eager to view the rest!

• What, specifically, was your favorite part of your session, and why?

  The entire thing. I'm already eager to go back for another session! Amy's small comments throughout the session totally make you feel like a rockstar. (The mimosas are pretty awesome too, I must say)

• If you were to recommend us to your best friend, what would you say?

  I've said plenty already. Here are a few tidbits.
  
  It was amazing. I felt like the hottest woman alive.
  
  I'm not comfortable with my body either. But it's a huge boost of self confidence
  
  You should see all the different size women she shoots. And everyone looks amazing!

Pretty Mondays!

What is Pretty Is?  My momma always told me "pretty is as pretty does."  Every. Day.  I mean it, every day of my teenage years she told me this before I left for basketball practice. And at first and because I was a typical teenager, I rolled my eyes and went on about my merry, little teenager life.  But as I grew older, as I grew into a woman, a wife, a mother, a friend, it has come to mean so much to me.  It has become my life's motto, and now, my life's work.

See Pretty Is As Pretty Does is so much more than a phrase.  It means that being pretty on the outside means nothing if you aren't pretty on the inside.  It means being pretty is so much more than beautiful lipstick, perfect curls, flawless skin.  It means so much more than having gorgeous legs, the perfect butt, perky boobs. It is so much more than having all of your shit together, than creating the ideal family, than having the perfect job.

I believe that "Pretty Is As Pretty Does" means being confident.  I definitely don't have all my shit together.  Ask my kids.  But I can fake it til I make it, and that's what I do a lot of the time.  I questions myself about everything - "am I too fat, am I too distracted, am I too lazy, do I really have what it takes to run this business and make money?" Fuck.  I have no idea, but I will fake it til I make it.  I am CONFIDENT about that.  I am confident that if I believe in myself, and give myself the opportunity to fail AND to win, that I can at least answer those questions.  And that's all that matters.

So... long story short, I have changed the name of my business to reflect on the outside what I am feeling on the inside, and to help you find what Pretty Is means to you.  Each month I will get personal with you about my struggles as a woman and I am asking that you get personal with me, too. Tell me what you are struggling with - let's fix that shit together.

I have started Woman Power Wednesdays in the VIP group.  (If you aren't part of that, why the hell not?  Click HERE.)  We will together proclaim what we are!  This week, I AM SCARED! I hope you guys like my new ideas!
